 FAQ’s:

  • Gouache is an art medium much like watercolor; but has a higher opacity than traditional watercolor. This allows the artist to add layers more easily.

  • Although all prints are printed on museum quality paper using archival ink (which can last without fading for around 300 years,) a giclee is an altered print. The prints are adjusted in a way that make them unique from all other prints. Many artists like to use metallic ink to enhance their artwork; which I have done here. Thus essentially making this an original piece.

  • You should receive an email from us once your purchase has been complete. Additional e-mails will be sent with tracking information, updates, etc.

    If you are not seeing your confirmation in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam/junk folders. If at which point your confirmation is still missing (or lost in a the internet void) send me a message using our contact form.

  • With the exception of custom original artworks or commissions, a typical shipping time is between 2-3 weeks depending on where your items are getting shipped.

  • Each custom artwork is unique and curated just for you! Therefore the time to complete each piece varies by complexity, size, and medium. (Some mediums take longer to dry between coats than others.)

    It is preferred that we maintain contact throughout the curating process so you can stay updated on it’s progress.

  • With the exception of the prints and giclee, each piece has been coated with protectant.

    All original gouache and acrylic paintings are finished with a matte top coat. It is recommended that these pieces are kept in a dry area away from direct sunlight.

    The prints and giclee have exposed ink and it is recommended to frame these pieces. Although additional UV protection isn’t necessary it probably wouldn’t hurt.

    The wooden birdhouses and signs are also coated with polyurethane. If kept outside, it is recommended to add additional coats once or twice a year or more depending on your climate. (I live outside of Chicago and they keep well with 2 coats per year.) I use Rust-Oleum to keep them looking fresh.
