All birdhouses and fairy houses are sealed with Rust Oleum and suitable to be kept inside and outside. However, I recommend regular “touch-ups” with the same or similar sealant to preserve your birdhouse or fairy house. I live in the Midwest and seal my birdhouse about twice a year. You may need to do more or less depending on where you live.
